Born 1970 in Ankara ( Turkey )

Lives in Istanbul.

​​​Love, peace and harmony is the aim for Gamze Araz Eskinazi’ s creations. While living in Ankara had a chance to observe dry land and nature. University years helped to realize the love of making. She adored craftsmanship and had a chance to work with different materials such as metal and  wood. Witnessing the unique creation  by masters, awareness helped her to focus on her favorite material hot glass. Different states of glass while shaping seems as a miracle. At age thirty three attended many world wide known glass artists’ workshops to be a glassblower. Mesmerized by the material of glass till now. Fragility, transparency and power of glass synchronized with her life philosophy. Human life, nature are the main subjects of her focus. Curiosity of dealing with liquid form of hot glass, pushed her to tell the stories from her soul with joy as a glass artist. Her colleague Yasemin Sayinsoy and Gamze blowing glass as a team and creating  together since 2003. Artist Residency invitation from The Glass Furnace Foundation (Istanbul)  at 2016 was questioned the relationship between human and nature. She had a chance to work intensely on ‘Mother Nature’ pieces.
